Attorney Johnny Cochran

Johnny Cochran represented the family of Tysha Miller who was shot to death by the Riverside Police on December 28, 1998, and was the subject of Civil Rights demonstrations led for over a year and a half by the Tyisha Miller Steering Committee of which I was the only white member of the 20 person committee. During this movement I had the honor of being arrested for blocking the entrance to the Riverside Police Department along with Martin Luther King III, Reverend Al Sharpton, Dick Gregory, Kim Fields, and other activist.
